Week 1: The 8 Keys to the Success of Marriage
Week 2: Family of Origin: Parental influence on marriage
Week 3: Communication Part 1 (Healthy Communication) & Communication Part 2 (Conflict Resolution)
Week 4: Sex/Intimacy in Marriage: Healthy Sexuality Intimacy & Roadblocks to Sexual Intimacy
This workshop is heavy on information with limited interactive and experiential exercises
Step 2: The Truth About Marriage© Workshop Intensive
(Weekend Workshop)
This is for couples who have participated in The Truth About Marriage© Workshop. I take the information from the 4 week or the weekend workshop to a deeper level and tailor the time to each couples situation. I do an intake assessment with each couple to become familar with their own personal journeys, their family of origin and recommend books and assignments that fit each couples unique dynamic. This workshop is more intimate, interactive, and experiential with more time for questions from each couple.
Topics will include:
- A deeper look at the 8 keys to the success of marriage
- Each couples family of origin and how it affects their marriage
- Communicating with responsible semantics and effective emotional expression
- Healthy Sexual Intimacy in Marriage
Minimum of 10 couples. Maximum of 15 couples.
Step 3: Intensive Couples Therapy (Scott's office)

Step 1: Marriage Workshop - 4 sessions (90-120 minute each over 4 weeks or weekend)
Step 2: Marriage Intensive - 4 sessions (90-120 minutes each over weekend)
