Marriage Intensives:
- 1 day Intensive:(9am - 5pm and a 2 hour follow-up) 9 hours of private marriage therapy
This one-day intensive is for couples who are both are committed to the marriage and are open to the process of change and healing. This is NOT for couples who have recently experienced a life changing marital event such as infidelity, emotional divorce or separation. - 2 day Intensive:(9am - 5pm over two consecutive days and a 2 hour follow-up) 16 hours of private marriage therapy
This two-day intensive is for couples who are both are committed to trying to work on the marriage. This is for couples who may be experiencing severe issues such infidelity, emotional divorce, separation, or discussing divorce. This is also for couples who are dealing with moderate issues such as issues with family or origin, communication, conflict resolution, parenting issues, blended family and other struggles. - 3 day Intensive:(9am - 5pm over three consecutive days and a 2 hour follow-up) 23 hours of private marriage therapy
This three-day intensive is for couples who are dealing with multiple severe problems, whose level of hopelessness is severe and the marriage is headed toward divorce without treatment.
Groups:
- Anger Group: The anger group is designed to assist clients in learning ways to effectively manage anger, set and maintain boundaries, and using responsible semantics to communicate wants and needs.
- Communications Group: The communications group is designed to assist clients in sharpening their communication skills by sending clear messages, establish active listening skills, and become proficient in conflict resolution, in particular, understanding the difference between solvable and unsolvable problems.
- Family of Origin Group: The family of origin group is designed to explore unhealthy issues and behaviors learned in your family system (people who raised you) and become aware how your system may be affecting your life in the present. This group process is called refamiling.
Sexual and Relationship Recovery Group (Sexual Compulsivity & Addiction)
- The sexual and relationship recovery group is designed to assist participants in learning strategies to stop unwanted behavior and ultimately, attain lifelong sobriety. In the Recovery Group, clients and their partners attend separate 75 minute groups for 12 sessions.
- Those in recovery for addiction: breaking through denial, the addiction process, relapse prevention, healthy living, and self-care.
- Partners of those in recovery: grief work, trauma/PTSD, boundaries, healthy emotional expression, and self-care.
- Advanced Sexual and Relationship Recovery Group
- The Advanced Group is for clients who have participated in the sexual and relationship recovery group and who want to take another step looking at the deeper issues underlying addiction such as shame, abuse, trauma, and family of origin. This group meets weekly for 1 year.
- The Advanced Group (Partners) is for spouses of addicts who have participated in the 12 week recovery group and desire to take another step in their work of recovery. Issues discussed are trauma/PTSD recovery, family of origin, and unhealthy individual and relational patterns that prevent spouses from experiencing emotional health.
